No Country for Old Men

Watch this film if you haven't already. Pretty much everyone plays their part brilliantly and it justifies the Cohen brothers status as two of the best filmmakers of our time. There's also a striking amount of non-dialogue in this film, often leaving the story telling to the reactions of the actors. Javier Bardem plays Anton Chigurh stunningly and leaves you hoping to never meet him for fear of him killing you with compressed air (so cool). Despite this, I liked him. I liked how he stuck to his word and he had principles even though he was very extreme. The weird/creepy/natural feeling to the Cohen brothers films make me want to invest in a few of their films on DVD.
Doesn't Javier Bardem look strikingly like Jack Torrance in the photo above? Both being lunatics its no surprise they look similar, although they are at different ends of the 'calm to agressive scale'.
Interesting (to me) Fact about this film: It's UK release was on my birthday.
